flights at intervals of abo~:t 30 minutes and at altitudes of about

field, fle:. a bank over the steeple of i~ruck and returned to the

22 December. t3otvreen 050o and 0600, there vras no air activity.
There vras a 4%lU overcast. Letween 0y0U ant 1500, jet aircraft made
individual flihts at intervals of about 25 minutes and at altitudes
of shoat 8U0 meters. The aircraft ar~proached from the east, flevr
a bank over the Bruck sugar works and returned in the direction of
the field. 9et~veen 1500 and 1600, there rune no air activity. 'P.;re~ty-
two jet aircraft, 2 twin-eneiine r:rone,:lanes and 1 sinule-engine
ronoplane .sere counted at the field. .1t about 1n0U, there vras no
r~.ir activity.
2~Dece~ber. Pio air activity was observed. There was a 5%10 overcast.
Decembers ~1t about 0600 azid 1330, there ryas no air activity.
There was a 5%10 overcast. 'r:renty-two jet aircraft, 2twin-engine
monoplanes and 1 single-engine monoplane were seen at the field.

to 7 10 overcast and intezraittent snowfall.

s9 December. BetwQen 1200 and 1400, 5 individual Set aircraft were
seen aloft at intervals of about 20 minutes at altitudes of about
1,000 meters. The aircraft aaproaehed from, and returned to,
tho Bast.
30 December. Bstw::en 2400 and 0100, there was no air activity.
There was a 5/l0 overcast. .Heteean 1300 and 1400, 22 jet aircraft,
2twin-engine monoplanes and 1single-engine monoplane were ease
at tLe field. The aircraft ears covered by tarpaulins. Two blue
stripes, 20 to 15 cm wide, were visible oa the leading edbroe of the
rudder assemblies of two of the jet aircraft.
31 December to Q January. No air activity was observed.

apparently giving the instruction. There wee. no llTing. There was

Co~r~cent .. Parndorf airfield is still occupied by one Soviet
figh er regiment. The observations on air aotivity and on.
instruction boing held agree with observations made at airfields
in East Gerraar~y. During the winter the ersonnel who arrive in f~.ll
