Between 0600 and 1500 on 21 December 1954, 36 MiG-15s, 3 Yak-lls and 1 biplan25X1 were counted at Wiener Neustadt airfield. The depression near the pyrotechnic. plant could not be reconnoitered. No air activity was observed. There was a 10;10 overcast at an altitude of about 1,000 meters, westerly wind of 10 km/h good visibility across the field and occasional light rain. MiG-15 parked at the aircraft repair shop northeast of the flight control station, 6 men in overalls were dismantling its tail by means of a block and tackle. Two "var_-like" crates and a truck were seen next to the aircraft. 2. Driving school truck and jeep 25X1 all of them with drivers wearing black-bordered blue epaulets were seen at the flight control station. Eleven trudks, 1 bus trailer and 4 Stalin tractors were parked under the lean-to roofs. One truck and 3 van-like trucks were parked in the open. Trucks longing 25X1 to the driving school, sedan and ambulance all of L~X1 them with drivers wearing black-bordered blue epaulets were seen in traffic. The southern AA n emplacement was unoccupied. Van-like truck 25X1 and trucks all of them with drivers 25X1 wearing black-bordered blue epaulets were seen proceeding to and from the western flight control station. The storage shed in the area of the pyrotechnics plant was guarded by a sentry wearing black-bordered blue epaulets. Two wings, apparently from MiG-15s and auxiliary fuel tanks which had already been seen on 30 November, were still seen at the previous location. ?. MiG-15 23 gray crates and 1 truck with hoisting gear were seen in 25X1 front of e hangar at Theresienfeld. Three trucks 25X1 with driver wearing black-bordered blue epaulets, 2 van-like trucks and tank truck with driver wearing black-bordered blue epaulets were seen 25X1 in the parking lot. 4. There was light traffic by personnel wearing black-bordered blue epaulets between the Artillerie Kaserne in Wiener Neustadt and the flight control station at the field. Three trucks, 2 van-like trucks and 3 sedans were parked in the yard 25X1 of the barracks installation. Five motor vehicles were parked under lean-to roofs. Van-like truck jeep and truck 25X1 all of them with drivers wearing black-bordered blue epaulets were seen in 25X1 traffic. Two trucks and 1 van-like truck were parked in the yard of Nachrichten Kaserne. No vehicular or personnel traffic was seen at the installation.
