1. The following weapons shipments from the USSR were observed crossing the 'border
at Frankfurt/Oder: 20 boxcars from Brest to Gera with 35 guns of a caliber of
between 150 to 180 mm on 2 November, and 1i5 to 49 flatcars with guns of a caliber
of between 150 to 180 mm. on 9 November.
2. Twenty four-wheel armored personnel carriers, which were apparently new, were unloaded
in Satzkorn on 11 November. A shipment with ten tanks, a boxcar with accessories
and a boxcar with escorting personnel arrived in Satzkorn on 13 November. The tanks
bad the following features: five spoke bogie wheels, 85 mm. guns without muzzle
brs;k, T?34 type ass and front armor which appeared to be less Slanted than that
of the T-34 tank. The tanks bad a height of about 2.5 meters.
Comment: These shipments may be the beginning of the return of the 20
trains with empty flatcars which had been dispatched to the USSR between 25 October
and 3 November. The arrival of the guns in Gera has been confirmed.
