Soviet Occupation in Bulgaria
1. In response to the signing of the Balkan pacts the Soviets have allegedly
considered occupation of strategic places in Bulgaria.

2. Elements of Rumanian cavalry troops,, equipped with unidentified artillery
pieces, were observed 15 kilometers north of Staling possibly for joint
Bulgarian-Rumanian maneuvers.
3. Informant heard that Soviet troops were around Burgas, but he was unable
to verify this information personally.
