bettae n coal output end the quantity of explosives consumed. In 19531, a inonthiy
average of 230,000 tons of hard coal wra produced in the five mines of the Walden-
burg coal district (0 51/31 07). Of this quantity, about 45,000 tons wez-e accounted
for by the "Chrobry" mina, 50?000 thus by the "Victoria" mine, 60,000 tons b. the

yourode. In l953- the "Vlotorirr Sine was scheduled to produce 63~000 tons a coil
per month. The Poles made eirort to increase coal production in the Waldenbur ;
area, For instance, the productiu>. r- the "Victoria" mine in 1955 was fixed
