A mast, observed from the river at Swinoujscie (w;;,S~riJiiamuende),,appeared. at first to end. in a type of light>tggceorlt3udt +rr. A more detailed, observation through'field glasses, however, showed a polygonal box with solid sides,,painted a reddish- orange, on top of the mast. The height of the box is about 25 to 30 cm. 2. Two rods placed, opposite one another protrude from the top of this box ending in a ball as large as a fist which appears to be made of metal.
