1.) Motorized Artillery Regimen is stationed in the same barracks
mentioned above. After the 1953 maneuvers, the regiment was reorganized
and now it has only two groups:
(a)?1 Artillery Group, consisting of three batteries, each armed with
four 122-nzn. guns;
(b) 2 Artillery Group, consisting of three batteries, each armed with
four 152-E. guns;
(c) The regiment also has the following vehicles;
12 track-laying tractors (trattori cingolati) of the DT-113 type
15 weapon carriers
6 GAZ-51 trucks
8 Csepel-Diesel trucks
1 tank truck
1 mobile shop
2.) Field Artillery Regiment is stationed in Veszprem in the Jutas 25X1
Barracks. Organization and armament of the regiment is as follows:
(a) 1 Group; three batteries, each armed with four 76.2-ma, field guns;

3.) Heavy Mortar Regiment is located in the new barracks at Hod-
mezvas ^hely. The organization and armament of the regiment is as follows:
(a) 1 Group: armed with twelve 82-ni. pieces
(b) 2 Grout; armed with twelve 120-mn. mortars
(c) 3 Grou ; same with twelve 120-m. mortars.
(d) The motorized equipment of the regiment consists of:
24 weapon carriers
15 GAZ-51 trucks
12 Csepel-Diesel trucks
5 jeeps
1 mobile shop
1 ambulance 25X1
1 tank truck
8 motorcycles
2. Mortar Regiment,
It was organized in Papa in 1949. From Papa it was transferred to Veszp m and
then to Kom,rom. It is subordinate to the 9 Infantry Division of Veszprem. The
headquarters anq - he various units of the regiment are stationed as of January
1954 in the Ujtuzer barracks of Komarom. The regiment is made up of the two
groups, each consisting of three batteries; each battery is armed with four
120-mm. pieces. The motorized equipment of the regiment is made up of the following:
12 GMC prime movers
15 weapon carriers
8 Csepel-Diesel trucks
4 jeeps
1 mobile shop
1 tank truck
2 motorcycles
3. Artillery Regiment,
a. It was se up in the spring of 1953 and belongs to the 9 Infantry Division
of Veszprem. The headquarters of the regiment, together with the 1 and 2
Groups, is located in Erring (Y5D97), while the 3 Group is stationed in
Lepsgrr (Y5 D97).
