1. No work is at present in progress on raising several wrecks sunk in.Pol.ish Vaters,
the s~,lvaging,of which had formerly been decided upon. Some preliminary work had
already been carried out in this connection.

4. Moreover, the employees of the Polish Ship Salvage Enterprise (Polskiec.
-Ratownictwo Okretowe PRO) are making no effort to raise the wrecks with the
existing salvage equipment, because, -the.y.say, the Soviets are sure-to appropriate
the wrecks, if salvaged, anyway; and they, the PRO personnel, would not even
receive a premium for their work.
