The Guatema4an Government has moved all inhabitants out of the town
of poctun (Poctum),in the southeast section of the Peten region of
Guatemala, on the pretext that there is a lack of water, and Poctun
is now gu".rded, while numerous large boxes have been arriving.l
These boxes apparently are being shipped to some point on Lake IsabaL,
about 55 miles south of Voctun, and from there they are brought to
Poctun. 2
omments
1: the boxes may contain atomic material, but it is
doubtft, .
2. Since an airstrip about 3,000 feet ling is located at Poctun, it
is possible that the strip is being used to bring in arms shipments
for the Guatemalan Government.
