THE APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE. (FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) 25X1A 25X1A 25X1 X 1. The railroad line to Majori, on the Riga Strand, is electrified. The Majori station is a one-story, long, white, modern building. A ticket from Riga to Majori costs two or three rubles. 2. The Hotel Stabura0 in Riga is located on the corner of Suvorova Lela and Fr. 25X1A Engelsa lela. . 3. The horse races are at the Hipodroms which is at its rewar., location. 1A steeplechases or other races. The admission is five to ten rubles. The crowds were not very large. It- 'In Riga there are three soccer fields: the Dynamo field (that of the former YMCA) on Kieglu lelay the field of the former ASK (Army Sporting Club.), and the Daugava.Stadium. This last is apparently the stadium at the 1905 Gada Parks. Admission is three to five rubles, depending on the location of the seats,and the stadium is always crowded. 5. T11,ere are often motorbicycle races in the Meza Parks. The races take plate on the streets in the park, and no admission is charged. The spectators sit and stand behind ropes along the roads. There may be some grandstands near the start and finish of the races, 6. The licences on military cars are high and narrow in shape. The figures are white on a black plate and are arranged in two horizontal rows. 7. There is a cafe above the Dailes Movie Theater on Kr. Barona Lela. A dinner of three dishes (sic) costs about 18 rubles. There are cheaper restaurants, where one can get an average lunch for ten rubles and a poor one for eight rubles.. 25X1A 25X1A CONFIDENTIAL
