1, On 1 October 1952, a Czech w ldier who was inducted by, an received uniforms
at, the recruiting district headquarters in C.Pudejovice (0 49/Q 96)9 was dish
patched to an infer try regiment in Mikizlov (P 49/S 56). He was assigned to
an NCO school in Mikulov, which vas rotated to the ibava p " N 68) training
camp in !pril and May 1953, In the summer of 1953, infantry
units, one artillery unit and one PS unit were stationed a 1,14i . ovo 50X1-HUM
In October 1952, the barracks i_nstallatien in Tyn nacl, Vltavou (0 50/Q 89), about
1 kilometer southeast of the city in the Mala Strana, Lorough ar.1 on the east
side of the road to Hnevkovice (0 50/Q 88), was occupied by an artillery unit.
The soldiers of the unit numbered at least 300 men and wore red-bordered black
epaulets. Guns of the unit observed in the barracks yard had two rubber-tired
wheels and barrels,,. 2 or 3 r:eters long. The unit was equipped with large trucks,
