1. In Labuanr Bantam, the Partai Komunis Indonesia (PKI) has a sub-section
committee led by Wardi, Secretary General of the committee. Wardi has
formulated a plan whereby a number of rubber and coconut plantations would
be gradually occupied and then nationalized.
2. Wardi claims that he is a follower of the late Kiai Tjaringin1 and considers
himself subordinate only to Kiai Hadji Tubagus Achmad Chatib,,2 TJaringints
son-in-law.
