1. The'rUnWata on Babie Doly Airfield are made of concrete slabs040 dm. square and
20c."thicksbetween which are gaps in which grass can grow. The grass conceals
the runways very well from aerial observation. There is an underground hangar
with four exits for aircraft on the airfield.
2. Strong fortifications are being built in the vicinity of Babie Do1y Airfield and
in the northern part of Oksywie. The old church in Okgywie has been converted
into a Polish naval ammunition depot and the church tower is used as an observation
tower.
3. Near Vamow Ostrowiecki there are underground stores of aerial torpedoes belonging
to the Belie Do1y air force unit and there are also torpedo stores of the Polish
Navy. In the same area there are underground stores of spare parts for jet aircraft.
40 Burnie Zagorze Airfield (Q55A35) will not be rebuilt just yet, but the repair and
assembly shops there, which belong to the air force unit stationed at Babie Doly,
are in use.

about 600 youths of the SP (Service to Poland) are
working on the airfield at Rumia-Zagorze and are employed in repairing the runways,
which were considerably damaged during the war, and are enclosing the airfield with
a concrete fence, 1* to 2 meters high.
