I. Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on 5 Augu.st 1951) 21 MiG-1581 1 Pis-2, which apparently
had been damaged? and 2 single-engiet? monoplanes with radiel engines were parked
at Parndorf (11. 48/X 77) airfield. No air activity was observed. There was a
7/10 overcast, westerly wind at 20 Intlit a ceiling at about 1b000 meters and good
visibili 7. About 30 men,' wearing black-bordered black and red-bordered bleck
apaulets and carrying books, left the temporary building east of the battery
charging station. Maintenence work wet being done on the aircraft. Near two of
the 111G-15a0 one motor vehicle each of type lbskovich was seen. From each of
the trucks a cable extended to a point near the cabin roof of the aircraft. At
the fuel dump, two tank trucks were apeerently being filled. Two trucks were
parked near the_kitchen.
2. There was no change in the status of the radio installations at the western
or northwestern edges of the field. Four 17-ime guns were seen in the AA gun.
emplacement. Five soldiers were having a trill on one of the guns. Motor

searchlights, north of the shed.
