1. On 14 August 1953 the SS INDIA arrived at Macao from Lisbon and other
Western European ports with 6,000 tons of cargo. Prior to her arrival
at Maoao, she had discharged 2,000 tons at Hong Kongo
2. The following goods were discharged at Maoaot 1,200 tons of iron plates;
2,000 tires, with metal inside (sic); 24,000 20-foot lengths of 3-inch
water pipe; 6,000 sheets of oorrugated irons 19220 oases of automobile
parts; 1,000 barrels of wax; 3,000 barrels of vaseline; and 1,450
barrels of brake leather. These goods were stored at the Asia Ta Company
warehouse) near the harbor, and at the Chen Hue (2182/5478) warehouse,
Rua da Praia do ilaaduco .
3. H. Nolasco and Company, Maoao, was agent for the INDIA, which was sohe-
duled to sail from Maoao on her return voyage on 21 August.
