le The state coal reserves at the end of November 1952 consisted of 280,000
tons, which fell short of the plan by 87,000 tens.

This left a reserve of 50,000 tons at the end of April 1953. The plan
palls for the storage of an additional 200,000 tons by the end of October
1953, and another 100,010 tons by the end of December 19536

4. At the end of March 1.953 the head of the coal section in the State
Materials Ad d3 istration declared that the storage of 200,000 tons by
the earl of October 1953 would be'impossible, and that he was preparing
a epeo`ia1 report for the cabinet.
Be The State Secretariat for State Reserves has reported that the plan
figure for 1953 can only be filled if Poland will deliver 508000 tons a month
above current requirements.
