In 1951 the Roads and Bridges:-Dep rtm ht, an independent organization up to that date, was incorporated into the Municipal Construction Office. Also in 1941, Wroclaw was divided into four districts, and a branch of the Municipal Construction Office was set up in each district. 2. The timber industry is supervised by the Timber beoAgencye(PolskahAgenPoland. Drzewna-P.A.G.), which is responsible for It was planned to out 20,000,000 cubic meters in 1951. The largest factories for processing timber are at Bydgoszcz, which employs 500 workers, and at Suchadniew,? near Kielce, which employs 150 workers. The Municipal Construction fofficeohas charge of a sawmill located at Pegow (Hennigsdorf-P52/043), 23 kilometers mill supplies in the direction of Poznan, which employs 28 workers. all timber requirements of the office, which amounted to 30,000 cubic meters'rin entries which produce window frames, car f t p wo 1951. The office also has charge o lintels, and flooring. A shortageLof building materials often causes construction to stop for a week or even two weeks. The only reason given for these shortages is that heavy industries have priorities in allocation of materials. In July 1951 the Municipal Construction Office received instructions to build three depots for grain storage for the army. The largest of the depots was to be built at Ulica Dluga No. 25, Wroclaw, on the site of a'.pprtlY destroyed beer factory.
