siderably accelerated during the last weeks. Radmirov (fnu), chief of
the Soviet acceptance commission had repeatedly urged that the delivery
of these sate be accelerated, pointing to delays and careless work on
the mart' of the plant administration. ?,'orkmon and also engineers had
ot- ously sabotaged the production of the A-l set, but at last tie de.
livery date fixed by the Soviets was met. Sets which had been
checked out in the evening, often did not function the next dat.l.

from Cottbus to have it repaired at the Suedwoik of the Jena Zeiss Plsf:.1
It was one of the first sets delivered in 1949. On 19 January, an eng:i*.eer,
also several technics ns and an interpreter went to repair en A-1 set at
Grossenhain airfield,

The 1953 production quota of 135 A?-1 pilot training sets was forwarded ~:o
the Zeiss Plant in February. Preparatory work for this production bad tilready
