1,; Between 11:30 a.r. and 4 p.m. on 20 February 1953, no air activity
was observed at Zerbst airfield. /,t 1200 p,m. on 12 March, two
25X1 planes took off, They circled for about 5 ninutee before landing.
At 12:45 pan., five swept-back ;het fighters took off a out 400
rioters apart and headed .est. The planes landed ? fver about 20
minutes. Additional take.-offs were made by T"iGa.l5 and types-29 planes
between 1:30 and 2:20 p.m.

3. Between 1 and L>:30 p.n. on 21 r ebruary, V.M-15 and type--29 planes
continuously took off individually and in elements of two. There
was a closed cloud base at an altitude of about l $,200 meters and
visibility of 5 to 7 Ii. The planes taxied from the area of the
hangars to the take. off point,. They usually made shov?t local flights.
If the planes flew for a longer time they remained in the area of the
field. At 3:10 pgm. a high-Twing monoplane took of: from its dispersal.
area and then headed. ::southeast. Three jeeps, 2 trucks with van. like
superstructurev and 2. tank trucks trere parked at. the take-off point,
in the northeastern corner of the field. A radio truck with an
extended antenna was observed next to the runty y. During the afternoon,

wing monoplane were counted at the field., The r.ingle? ecn nine planes
were painted a light blue.
