On 2" February 1953, only a portion of the total occupation at .wiener 1Ieustadt (0 48/X 34) airfield was observed. Six MiG-15s pointing to the southwest were parked in a row from northwest to southeast about 200 meters nort.west of the AA gun emplacements along Badener Strasse. A bus trailer, 3 trucks, 1 van-like truck and 1 jeep were parked at a small distance from the northernriost plane. No air activity was observed. There was a 10/10 overcast at an altit=ude of about 1,200 meters and a northwesterly wind of about 35 km/h. The soldiers quartered in the cantonment west of Wiener Neustadt and the sentries there wore red-bordered black epaulets. Sixteen trucks were parked in the barracks and and the garages. No guns or weapons were observed. 25X1 B Trucks I Iwith drivers wearing red-bordered black epaulets hauled the garbage away. The waste paper was burned under the supervision of an officer.1 2@ Between 9 and 11 a.m. on 1 Mr4rch, no air activity was observed. at the field. There was a .northwesterly w` nd of about 10 km/h, visibility of 15 km and light rain. An antenna mast, about 12 meters high with four cone-sha, ed bracings, was observed northwest of Felixdorf (0 48/X 35). Near this mast, there were a brick building, about 8 meters square, a radio truck and a rod about 6 i..eters high with an unidentified device. The 12-meter-high Past had about ten antenna wires fixed at its end, which terminated on the ground in a circle about 150 meters in diariater. Four additional wares, fixed at the u-.-.per end of the mast, extended along the mast down to the ground and led to the radio truck and the brick building. 1. and 2 3. Up to about 10 p.m. on 2 March, air activity by MIG-15s and- apparently by individual single-engine planes, which had set position lifhts.l 4. Between 6:30.and 7:40 p,m. on 4 March, there was moderate air activity by M1G-15s. There was a 8/10 overcast, a westerly wind of 10 to 15 S
