I)urinfr the year of 1952, a Chinese delegatio-f including three ministers
visited the Zeiss, Jena, works and tried to pince a, lon,r?-rani e order for
the delivery of mobile motion picture projectors (Tonfil koffer)
The order re:;uested yearly deliver' of ten million DME worth of instruments
for the next ten years, it was furtharrore requested that each instrument
be accompanied by a small nasoline poser station in view of the power
,hortage in China?
Zeiss aLs =ble to accept the order,. However, instruments totalling ei)*ht
