Between 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on 24 January 1953, source observed 32 NiG-15s, 11 twin-engine jet planes and 6 single-engine planes at Wiener Neustadt airfield (0 48/X 34). Weather was 10/10 overcast, visibility about 20 km, moderate southwesterly wind. Sixteen MiG-15s parked near Badener Strasse made five-minute local flights. After landing the planes which were fitted with oblong cabins and marked by three-digit red numbers taxied back to their parking site. 1 Near the runway, source saw two bus trailers, two van-like trucks and one peep.. The noise of flying aircraft was heard until 10 p.m. 2. From 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 4:30 p.m. on 25 January, air act observed at the field followed the pattern of the preceding da Weather was 10/10 overcast,, visibility about 20 km, no wind. At 3:4.0 p.m., a 11iGg-15 seen towing an air sleeve about 10 meters long over the field. heard the reports of some shots, but was unable to determine wh they were fired by AA guns or aircraft weapons.
