1. Between 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on 24 January 1953, source observed 32
NiG-15s, 11 twin-engine jet planes and 6 single-engine planes at
Wiener Neustadt airfield (0 48/X 34). Weather was 10/10 overcast,
visibility about 20 km, moderate southwesterly wind. Sixteen MiG-15s
parked near Badener Strasse made five-minute local flights. After
landing the planes which were fitted with oblong cabins and marked
by three-digit red numbers taxied back to their parking site. 1
Near the runway, source saw two bus trailers, two van-like trucks
and one peep.. The noise of flying aircraft was heard until 10 p.m.

From 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 4:30 p.m. on 25 January, air act
observed at the field followed the pattern of the preceding da
