1. Construction of the Kovofinis plant in Ledec nad Sazavou (05O/M44) for the
25X1 production of precision -engineered components of certain weapons began in
1949 under the supervision of military personnel and the direction of Army
experts.
2. The plant is located on the left bank of the Sazava River between the river
and Septouchov Hill, It consists of eight assembly and production halls 80
25X1 meters long, 12 meters wide and six to eight meters high. It is located one
kilometer from the center of Ledec nad Sazavou.
3. At the time of observation the plant employed about 3,000 workers, but
recruitment of further workers was under. way. Output is being increased all
25X1 the time. -
