lro At about 3 p.m? on 18 December 1952, 1`7 jet f'ghters were observed at
Parndorf airfield.
2. Between '' a?m. and 4 p.m. on 22 December, the field was occupied by
16 KiG-15s, 2 biplanes, and r single-engine plane with two-bladed
propeller and radial engine. There was an 8/10 overcast, a westerly 25X1
w5 nd. of a'Sbut 10 km/h, intermittent light rain and limited visibility.
No flights were made. All o" the MtiG-15- were covered with tarpaulins
except for three which were parked near the assumed motor vehicle repair
shop in the eastern section of the field. The air intakes of the three
14iG-15s were covered with red lids. Two types of containers were observed
lying on the ground under the wings of almost all the MIG ?-15s. No activity
was observed on the landing field.

which were warded by sentries wearing red-bordered black epaulets. no storage

bracing and the long. wire antenna.. Five prime movers, five trucks with canvas-
covered superstructures and four trucks were parked east of the flight control
station. A mobile flight control station with a tr:.iler and a radio truck
with three rod antennas were north of the aircraft dispersal ar6a ain the
