rail (rel'sovyye) harrows.
The Ministry of Local and Fuel Industry Lithuanian SSR is preparing drawings
of a machine for producing pots out of peat.
In 1954, the ministry plans to have 10,000 hothouse boxes produced by enter-
prises under its jurisdiction

The Leningrad Vulkan Plant fulfilled its 1953 production plans for agri-
cultural machine spare parts several months ahead of schedule. Plant personnel
pledged to produce a large number of spare parts for self-propelled combines
and cultivators in excess of the 1953 production plan.
BELORUSSIAN INDUSTRIES PRODUCE MORE AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT -- Tall in, Sovetskaya

The Lida Agricultural Machinery Plant, Ministry of Local and Fuel Industry
Belorussian SSR, has shipped Improved models of brush cutters to Baltic republics.
These machines are part of the December 1953 production plan.
The Rechitskiy Rayon Industrial Combine has tripled the production of Zmeyka
sorters. The Combine produces flax scutchers, wagons, and harnesses in excess
of production plans.
in 1953, local industry of the Belorussian SSR is producing agricultural
machines at a rate more than 50 percent greater than in 1952.

The Lida Agricultural Machine Building Plant, the Baranovichi Repair and
Machinery Plant, the Volokovysk Machinery Repair Plant, and other machine build-
ing enterprises of the Belorussian SSR have increased the output of agricultural
machines.

GOMEL' PLANTS FULFILL PRODUCTION PLANS AHEAD OF SCHEDULE -- Minsk, Sovetskaya
Belorussiya, 19 Nov 53
The Gomel' Foundry and Machinery Plant has fulfilled its production plan
for agricultural items ahead of schedule. In 1953, the plant has shipped
100,000 assorted parts needed in repairing tractors and agricultural machines.
Before the end of 1953, the plant pledged to exceed its production quota by
5,000 additional parts.
The Gomel' Repair Plant has produced 70 fuel tanks in excess of its 1953
production plan. The plant has shipped 500 grain loaders to kolkhozes of
Roetovskaya Oblast.
