The Minsk Udarnik Plant has produced a number of experimental models of
KM-1400 ditch diggers for use in land irrigation work. A group of these ma-
chines have been delivered to MTS and machine testing stations.

The Minsk L'darnik Plant has designed and built an experimental model of
the D-305 ditch digging machine.

The Minsk Udarnik Plant is producing KM-1400 ditch diggers.
The Lida Agricultural Machine Building Plant is producing brush cutters
and 6-ton dump-style tractor-trailer wagons.

The Minsk Udarnik Plant has recently shipped a large number of ditch
diggers to land reclamation workers of the Belorussian SSR, the Baltic re-
publics, and Kaliningradskaya Oblast. The plant has shipped 22 ditch diggers
to Polesskaya Oblast.
The Vitebsk Komintern Plant fulfilled an order placed by the Odessa
Agricultural Machine Building Plant a month ahead of schedule.

LATID-CLEARING MACHINES -- Minsk, Sovetskaya Belorussiya, ~11' Sep 53
Plants of the Ministry of Transport and Heavy Machine Building pro-
duce more than 90 types of agricultural machines. In 1954, plants will
increase production of ditching machines sevenfold, of brush cutters
sevenfold, and of stump pullers threefold, as compared with 1953. Plants
will also increase production of ditch diggers for land irrigation.

DELIVER STUMP PULLERS -- Moscow, Izvestiya, 23 Sep 53
The Chelyabinsk Plant imeni Kolyushchenko has shipped a large number
of stump pullers to the Estonian SSR, the Karelo-Finnish SSR, the
Tatarskaya ASSR, the Bashkirskaya A?^;;, and Arkhangel'skaya and
Kaluzhskaya oblasts.
PLANT PRODUCES FARM MACHINES -- Moscow, Moskovskiy Komsomolets, 26 Sep 53
The Perovo Machinery Plant is producing many new machines, including
farm machines. The plant produces a machine for grubbing tree stumps out
of the ground, a. well boring machine, and a steam engine. Plant experimental
shops have assembled new models of a grain combine and a hay baler..
BUILDS BRUSH CUTTERS, OTHER EQUIPMENT -- Moscow, Komsomol'skaya Pravda,

The Kazan' Machinery Plant has begun producing brush cutters. In
September 1953, the plant built 30 brush cutters; it plans to produce
brush cutters at the rate of 600 a year.

The Kazan' Machinery Plant has made its first shipment of brush cutters
or use with the 5-80 tractor to the Pelorussian SSR, Siberia, and the Far
East.
The plant produces couplers for tractor-drawn planters and ships them
to MTS of the Tatarskaya ASSR in barges.
The plant has designed two steam power units which are now being tested.
