The Tbilisi Agricultural Machine Building Plant has been in existence for
26 ye?:rs. At first, its production was limited to garcen grafting knives, bar-
rows, honey collectors, and tractor parts. It also made minor tractor repairs.
At p.asent, the plant produces horse-drawn cultivators, plows, the Tremas de-
vice for spraying vineyards, ing-sawing machines, hoisting Ievices, and locks
for 5._?;?igation ditches. These products are shipped to various rayons in the
3SR, as well as to the Tadzhik, Tu*kmen, and other S:,Rs. In 1953, the
plant had an urgent order to repair 500 Tremas sprayers of various makes and
types. It designed special parts which fitted all Tremas sprayers and was able
to repair Tremas sprayers at the rate of 200 a month instead of 50 a month as
estimates.
