Yestex~lay during the day, cloudy with clerring weather prevailrcl in the
Belorussian SSR. The highest temperature, 20 degrees above zero, was .recorded
in Lel'chitsy (Polesskaya 'blast). Temperatures at 1500 hours were 19 degrees
above zero in Gomel', 18 in Mogilev, 17 in P'..rsk, and 13 in Vitebsk and 14insk.
The lowest temperature, 4 degrees above zero, was recorded in LT~ntupi (Piolo-
dechnenskaya Ob7_~st).(1)

Yesterday, during the day, variable cloudiness prevailed in the -elorussian
SSR. Showers were re^orded at sore places in the northern portion of tl:,; Repub-
lic. Temperatures at 15C0 hours were 8 degrees above zero ir. Polotsk, 9 in
Grodnq, 10 in Minsk, 11 in Mogilev, 12 in Brest, 13 in Gomel', and 11F in Vasile-
vichi.(1)
This morning, slightly cloudy, cold weather prevailed in the Karelo-Fin-
nish SSR, most of Arkhangel'skaya Oblast, Komi ASSR, the northern portion of
the Baltic republics, and the northwestern portion of the central region of the
European JSSR. Snow fell. at sdme places in the extreme southern portion of
Arkhe.ngel'skaya Obin.st, Komi ASSR, and Vologodskaya Oblast. Frosts were re-
corded in the eastern and southeastern regions of tite European USSR.

Yesterday during the day, cloudy weather prevailed in the Belorussian SSR.
Rain fell in most of the republic. Temperatures at 15G0 hours were 5 degrees
above zero in Drissa, 6 in Polotsk, 8 in Mogilev and Grodno, and 11 in Lel'-
chitsy and Brest.(1)
During the night of 11 April, temperatures dropped in the Belorussian SSR,
Leningradskaya Oblast, a^.d the northwestern portion of the central region of
the Europcsn USSR, including Moscow Oblast. Towards morning, temperatures in
these areas dropped at some places to 2-4 degrees below zero. Warne weather
prevailed in the rest of the European USSR. Rains fell in the Ukraine. Pre-
cipitation was recorded in the form of rain and snow in the central regions

khan'; and 9 in Sochi.

Yesterday during the day, slightly cloudy weather prevailed in the Belo-
russian SSR. Temperatures at 15~ hours were 12 degrees above zero in Gamel',
Slutsk, end Orsha; 13 in Minsk and Mozyr'; 14 in Bobryysk and Pruzhany; 15 in
Brest and Volkovysk; and 1G in Grodno.(1)
This morning, precipitation in the fom of rain and snox was recorded at
some places in the central'and southeastern regions of the European USSR and
the foothills of the Caucasus.
Last night's lowest temperature in Moscow was 3 degrees above zero; it

Belorussian SSR. .Precipitation in the form of rain and ancw was recorded at
some places, mostly is the northeastern portion of the republic. Temperatures
at 1500 hours were 2 degrees above zero in Orsha, 3 in Polotsk, 6 in Mogilev,
7 in Minsk, 8 in Gomel', 11 in Grodno, and 14 in Brest.(1)
This morning, rain fell in the Middle Volga Region, Kirovskaya end Arkh-
angel'skaya oblasts, and the Karelo-Finnish SSR. Snow fell locally in Lenin-
gradskaya Oblast. Mostly slightly cloudy weather without precipitation was re-

This morning, rains fell in some places of the northern, central, and
southern regions of the European USSR, and the Caucasus. Temperatures dropped
in the Karelo-Finnish SSR, the Baltic republics, and the Belorussian SSR.
Warm weather prevailed in the eastern half of the European USSR.

vailed in the Belorussian SSR. Temperatures at 1500 hours were one degree
