The 115,000-kilovolt-ampere capacity is adequate for the requiremeata of A tosm frith a population of 400,000: The efficiency of the transformer is over 99 percent, meaning that less than 1 percent Brill be lost in the transforming process. It takes 16 ventilators to cool the transformer while in operation. To carry out the cooling process, 2,000 steel pipes have been welded into the top of the transformer, and the ventilators blow cold air through these pipes at a speed of 36 meters per second. The four 220,000-volt insulators, which are 2 meters long, will remain mounted while transported, but the four 110,000-volt insulators w111 be shipped separately.
