The Tbilisi Streetcar and Irolleybus Administration hac. received seven new
troileybuses. Most of the new buses will operate between Ploshchad' fleroyev
Sovetskogo Soyuza and the Dom Spetsialistov in Saburtalo.

The Ministry of Automobile Transport Azerbsydzhan SSR is expanding the system
of bus lines and increasing the taxi park. The Dzhebrail-Makhmudly,Shemakha-
Akhsu, and Baku-Kuba lines were recently opened. In July lines will be opened
between Y ryakino and Goradiz and the station of Akara and Xubatly. A system of
bus lines will serve -ei ;?-ginskiy, Xuoatllneki;,. Zhdanovskiy, and other rayons of the
Republic.
Pobeda taxis are b#:iug used i:, Baku and will be introduced in Kirovabad and
Stepanakert.
CONSTRUCTION PROGRESSES ON NEW CHITA ROAD -- Zabaykal'skiy Rabochiy, No 113, 11 Jun 49
An axtensive construction program is underway on the road between the Chita
Biologicals Factory and Ugdan. A number of organizations and enterprises are
participating it the work. Workers of the "Barguzinzolototrrne" (Barguzin Gold
Transport) Trust have been particularly outstanding, building 8 k_lometers of
gravA1 and earth road. A total of 23 kilometers of now roadbed will be built here.
