factory, reports that the factory will start working on its 1950 production schedules
before the and of the first half of 1949. I.i the past few months production has
risen to 118.4 percent. Many workers are operating at a rate of 300 to 400 percent
of their quotas. Several Individual workers are turning out in one shift the work
scheduled for five to six shifts. In addition, the cost of man::featured articles

From 1950 to 1952 the Ministry of Coal Industries intends to construct
some 11 hospitals with polyclinic departments in various coal-mining regions.
Plans are being completed for hospitals with a total of 50 to 200 beds to ba
built at Shaft No 18 In $neshnos0, Stelinsk Obleet; in, the village of Ieverino
and at the mine imeni Karl Marks, Voroshilovgrad Oblast. in the towns of
Kieelev and Osinnik, Kemerovo Oblast, Karaganda in Kaiakh SSR, in Gubekha,
Molotov Oblast, and Cheremkhovo, Irkutsk Oblast.
