Czechoslovak imports from the USSR in December were three times
as great as in November. 11zports to the USSR rose moderately (821.6
million crowns), and were greater thau.the exports co any other one
country during the month.
Czeoh-Russian trade in 1948 totaled over 13 billion crowns.

Czechoslovakia is to receive 3G carloads of Russian tea during 1949,
under the terns of the 120011-Soviet trade agreement. This is as such tea
se was consumed in Czechoslovakia before the war, but it is impossible to
predict whether it will satisfy the present demand, especially in view of
the high reputation of Russian tea.
The first four oars are now in Prague, and the fifth! Is on the way.
