1. This enterprise was formerly the Kowarskie Kopalnie in Kowary, oia?es Jelenia
Cora, The first shaft was opened by the Germans in F(or'! d 'r'ear II, The address
is: Zaklady Przemjslorze Rajon 1, Kowary, okres Jelenia Gora. The mine manage-
ment and library are located at Kowary, Rowie Osiedle. rill pits in this mine
come under Rajon 1, in Kowary.
~. Of L'ne min~x~ machinery, the compressors, drills, transporters and elevators are
of German and Soviet make, and the machine:; for testing the ore are of Soviet
make. Some of the equipment is of Po3ish manufacture. Hauli:~ is done by

~. In 1?50 the mines produced at a rate of,'five to seven truckloads of ore a day.
In April 1952 the rate had dropped to one truckload a day. The ore is be;.ieved
