1. The Carl Zeiss works at Jens manufactured about 9,000 field glasses in
February 1954; 27 stereo-telescopes were manufactured for the Volkspolizei.
2. A new shop for the mal.ufacturs of aiming devices has been erected. This

for the electronic-optical theodolite. Manufacture of the camera and the film
roller guide adapter will be commenced simultaneously by Zeiss Jena and Zeiss

Teltow. Deliveries of cameras and optical equipment to Teltow will coffinence in
April 1954.
