1. At the beginning of Dec 1553 there were three ::octet conferences of Communist
leaders at Nanning,. including delegates from Burns, l::ya, `:hai]and, Indochina
and the Philippines. The coo nferenee: o:ere for the purpose of working out a general
plan for the Communist conquest of outheast Asia by 1j5).
2. Chen Shao-yu presided over the conferences. He works with Liu 3hao-ahi, head of
the Far East Cominform."
3. Party members charged with underground trovk ..u the countries named, or dr-stined
to act as liaison personnel will be given courses in a Com-munist espionage school
in Canton. The courses in this ::ch~ol include the languages, geography, historical
background and technical details with regard to the countries in which the
personnel will-work. The agents will also be trained in obtaining information
about British and American military forces in the areas in question.
