2. In September 1953 there were produced 20,160 kg. of phosphorus, and about e6,000,
kg. of dichlor-die thyl5.lphide. The Buna works manufactures only the first
(thio-di-glycol) stage ~~ the dichlor-diethylsulphide, which is further treated
elsewhere. Large quantities of glycerine are shipped monthly; the production has
been considerably increased in the past few months. The production of acetylene
fell short by 1,221E tons of the quota of 30,620 tons, due to a', shortage of carbide.

synthetic rubber.(mainly the oil-insoluble kind), calcium carbide, acetone, ceririe,
building lime, kalunite (sic), chlorethyl, caustic soda, ethyIhloride, glycerine,
anti-freeze solution (glysantin), aluminum chloride, plasticizers, grease extracting agents, automobile lubricating oil and other !,oils..methyl
alcohol, dichlor-diethylsulphide, and phosphorus. Two-thirds of the output goes
to the Soviet Union.
