1. In August 1953 the Zemag Zeitz manuy a,tured two heavy briquette presses. The
steel construction division fabricatel pressure feed conveyors for the USSR
to Soviet apecifi..ations. This is a new produ. tion line. Six heavy
railway cars were completely overhauled., and 16 aranea for auto trucks were
manufactured. A. large railway crane is still under construction.
2. The boiler division manufa;.tured steam boilers for Soviet plants. The boilers
are coated anti-rust and were given numbers corresponding. to those in
the plans. they are for Soviet hydrogenation
plants. The. material was delivered _row. a Union. Four.. boil era abate three
meters long and 1.8 meters in diameter leave the works monthly.
3. Shafts of various sizes are currently being turned out for the SAO Blol.~hert,
and crankshafts 3.5 meters long are, being supplied to Soviet shipyards or marine
engine factorlee. The shaft ends ha-re diameters of 15-to 20 cm. They are
delivered first to the Sachsische Edelstahlhart.erei in Leipsig.
