tions on 1 and 2 July to embarrass Balaguer and protest
US intervention in the Dominican Republic.
3. According to a radio report of 27 June, Na-
tional Police Chief Jose Morillo has given assurances
that his men are capable of handling all security
problems, He said that the Dominican police will co-
operate with foreign security, agents who will accompany
several missions to the inauguration ceremonies,
