SUBJECT: Forthcoming National Intelligence Estimates
I. axi sending you herewith a list of national intelligence
estimates scheduled for the next two quarters, together with
appro Umatkb completion dates and the n yes of Board and Staff
members primarily responsible in each case. The schedule is
complete for the fourth quarter -- though as usual various
,&VTE's may be laid on at short notice.
2. As before, I am sending this list in multiple copies,
and asking that it be given distribution to the people in the
various Divisions who might have substantive contributions to
make. Frequent contact between our staff people and yours is
now a matter of routine, but I believe this list continues to
be useful as a means of advance and systematic notice of work in
train. It should be noted that the period of most active work
on an estimate is normally in the two or three weeks prior to its
consideration by the USIB,
