1. The GMAIC has been asked to comment on and propose
changes to the JCS Supplementary Collection Plan of June 1962.
Although comments have been solicited on all portions of the plan,
review of certain sections within the special competence of the
Committee have been specifically assigned., Some of these fall
within the purview of your Working Group.
Z. Accordingly, you are requested to review the following
sections of the JCS Plan and prepare draft recommended revisions
thereto to reflect any expected changes in requirements, facilities.
equipments or conditions of operations.
a. Annex A. Appendix 6 - Processing and Analysis
of Data from Extended-Range ICBM Events (to include an
expansion of paragraph 4 to include names and addresses
for distribution of data from each sensor. D
b. Annex E, Appendix 2Q Tab D - Summary of Results
of Supplementary Collection against Past Extended-Range

3. Your response should be prepared in the same format as
the original. Additionally, you should reflect any deficiences noted
in past operations or any desired changes to future operational
procedures. At the same time, comments on areas outside those
indicated are in order.
4. If GMAIC is to meet the response deadline imposed by the
JCS. multiple copies of your reply must reach the Secretariat by
28 January 1963 so that it may be considered at the GMAIC meeting on
29 January 1963.
