SUBJECT Peter Peckarsky Interview Request
We have had a request from Mr. Peter Peckarsky, who
reports for the Buckeye News Review. He wants to
interview the Director, especially on the 20 May 1976 story
about the CIA in Rolling Stone. That story contained a lot
of wild stuff about million dollar CIA contributions to
Dewey, etc.
We cannot locate anything about the Buckeye News Review
'but we know that in 1975, Mr. Peckarsky was writing or the
New Republic on Mr. Connally and was described as a reporter
for a Boston newspaper.
I have told Mr. Peckarsky that the Director's schedule is
very full and I wasn't all that sure he could grant an inter-
view but I would put him on the list of persons who had asked.
I think we can put this one on the back burner.
