Dear Jack:
I wish to extend my appreciation to you and the
people of. your West Coast command who gave so unstint-
ingly of their time to provide me with a most meaning-
ful briefing and tour of your programs.
Hopefully, someday in the not too distant future,
I can spend more time with you, but I must say that
the few days on the Coast went a long way in demon-
strating the complexity, yet miracle, of your endeavors.
I commend you for the arrangements which went without
flaw, and I ask that you pass on my personal thanks
and appreciation to those who aided in making the trip
so successful.
Sincerely,
7s7 George Bush
