nation as Dslputy Director of Central Intelligence.
During the 1972-74 time period while I was Serving at DIA, I had. the
opportunity and pleasure of meeting you and working with your people
in OSR. I was very impressed with you and your staff and enjoyed the
relationship even though we did not always see eye to eye on some of
the problems.
I know you will be extremely effective in this important new position.
You appointment reaffirms my trust in the federal system to be able to
pick the right man in times of need.
