MEMORANDUM FOR: COMOR Photo Working Group
SUBJECT: Orbit Select Targets for Mission 4012
1. Attached is a list of targets as selected by the Photo Working
Group on 2 September for use inplanning Mission 4012. This list
takes into consideration intelligence derived from Mission 1009 and
using the leapfrog principle those targets believed likely to be
covered by Mission 4011.
2. It is to be noted that the list is divided into 3 sections as
follows:
a. Principal Target - Target that must be covered once
during the mission and preferably within the first 3 days.
b,, Primary Targets - The maximum number possible
should be obtained in addition to the principal target.
C. SecondaryTargets - Targets to break ties between
orbits that have the capability to cover the principal target and
an equal number of primary targets. The tie to be resolved in
favor of the orbit that obtains the greatest number of targets in
the category,
updated as required.
3. This list is valid only for the subject mission and will be
