TIDWELL, CHAIRMAN MC&G WORKING GROUP SUBJECT: Sun Angle Criteria for Evaluating Panoramic Photography 1. A recent technical review has been made in map and chart produc- tion agencies relative to the above subject. The purpose of this memorandum is to recommend a change in this criteria. 2. It is recommended that subparagraph g of the "MC&G Evaluation Criteria for KH-4 Panoramic Photography", issued as an attachment to MCGWG-M-21, 23 September 1966, be revised to state as below: "The minimum sun angle will be 12 degrees for low and moderate relief areas, and 15 degrees for extreme relief areas."
