We will furnish five) Model RI P-101 Rapid interpretation 25X1
Printer-Processors for a firm fixed price of with delivery commencing 25X1
?wthin fifteen weeks after receipt of five GFE Richards GFL 940 MOE Light Tables.
The Model RIPP-101 incorporates the advanced operational and maintenance
features listed below:
1. A miniature light source in the printer light box to provide sufficient
illumination for aligning the area to be copied with the copy material.
2. An exposure indicator lamp to indicate when an exposure is being made.
3. Storage container for the material located in a vertical position on
the left-hand side of the control panel.
?-. All labels are epoxy silk-screened for satisfactory operational usage.
5. Entrance port to the processor tapered and widened to permit easier
insertion of the exposed material.
6. A resettable elapsed time-recording meter to record running time of the
processor.
7. A resettable counter to indicate the number of exposures made.
8. A pressure gauge to display the pressure in the ammonia storage tank.
S 9.. Location of the film notch for proper exposure on the glass exposure
surface.
10. An improved ammonia flow control to provide reliable ammonia regulation.
All gauges positioned to permit front viewing.
11. Improved drive mechanism in the processor.
12. Forced ammonia agitation within the processing chamber.
13. Improved insulation of the processing chamber to reduce processor warm-
up time; power and heat dissipation requirements of the processor.
111. Improved water control system to provide positive control of the water
level within the processing chamber. An indicator alerting the opera-
tor when water level is below an acceptable minimum.
15. A rated MTF of 500 hours.
We will be responsible for systems maintenance for a period of 90 days
after delivery of the machines.

Representative
1. Today I received a call from) (concerning the shelf life
of unitone materials for use on the DIAZO Printer. He reports that he has
contacted (manufacturer) and learned that the material
stored at 72 and Wo relative humidty should have a minimum shelf life of
6 months; stored at a temperature of 40-45?F and 50% relative humidty the
minimum shelf life should be one year.
? 2. The Q representative stated,. that they will not guarantee
performance of the material,after it has been frozen; therefore, it should
not be stored at temperatures below freezing.
3. No particular warm up procedures are necessary for the material, it
may be taken from storage, placed at room temperature and allowed to stabilize
prior to use.
4. plans to visit the Imagery Analysis Division on the 12th
of January for the purpose of delivering two proposals concerning variants of
the DIAZO Chip Printer.
