SPECIAL OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS FOR RICHARDSON VIEWER
1. Make sure the back of the machine is at least 1 foot out from the wall,
to permit air to circulate around and into the air intake.
2. Turn the machine on at the beginning of the working period and leave
on for the full period. If the machine is not in use, lower light intensity
to the lowest visible level. When the machine is initially turned on bring
the light intensity level up slowly in discreet steps.
3. Until a service change has been installed, pull the top platen out approxi-
mately 1/16th inch from the fully inserted position.
4. In order to lengthen the bulb life, when possible, reduce the ambient
background lighting and view the film at lower than maximum intensity.
