Task 6680-04: 50-360 Dye Layer Separation and-END Patches
This memo summarizes our discussions about the subject task on
30 April 1970.
Deliverable items under the task will be three each of cyan,. magenta,
and yellow micro and macro -step tablets on SO-360 (exposed, but unprocessed)
and one set of four neutral patches covering the useful density range of SO-360
(processed in EA-4 chemistry). Upon receipt of the above items, the customer
will provide processing of the step tablets and will determine the red, green
and blue integral filter densities of each macro step tablet and E.N.D. patch
using a macro type densitometer, and will trace each micro step tablet and
.END patch with a microdensitometer using red, green, and blue filters in the
optical system. The raw integral density data will then be returned to the
contractor. The contractor will then perform the calculations necessary to
determine the analytical and equivalent neutral density conversion matrices
for SO-360 and the two instruments upon which the data were derived. The
results, including minor vs. major density plots and matrices, will be pre-
sented in a summary report at the conclusion of the task.

1 June-1970 -Receive integral density data from customer
9 June 1970 -Complete calculation of analytical and equivalent neutral
density conversion matrices and finish draft
