MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: Dr. Donald MacArthur
1. Dr. MacArthur, formerly of Melpar but now the Deputy
Director for Research and Technology in DD/R&E, called me this
morning and asked if we could set up a small, informal discussion
relative to subjects such as biology, chemistry,
I I etc. I had been previously alerted by Paul
Tamarkin that Dr. MacArthur would call.
2. I suggested that such a meeting might be mutually beneficial
but that it should take place after Labor Day when my
Deputy, would be back in town, since some of the topics were of
vital interest to him.
3. The way it was left with MacArthur was that I will call
after Labor Day and arrange a date for such a get-together.
