1. It is requested that the OC-ADP Committee review
this request and grant approval for a computerized inventory
management program for the OC Worldwide Repair/Return
Program. This Inventory Management Program (IMP) will 'be
used to control and update the R?R inventory of over 10,000
line items. This number of line items, together with a
high volume of transactions, make such a program essential
to proper inventory management.
2. Software requirements will include, but not be
limited to, the following:
a. Sub-programs to distinguish between
expendable and non-expendable items.
b. A locator system to keep track of
repairable items to/from repair sources and
establish due-outs to customers.
c. A re-order indicator for expendable
items.

3. A roval has been granted by Office of Security to
install two ADP Remote Terminal Devices. Signal
lines are in place and approval has been granted by Office

5. If approval of this requirement is granted, it is

SUBJECT Request for Installation of ADP Remote,,

REFERENCE Memorandum from Executive Assistant, OC,

1. Representatives of the Office of Security have
reviewed your request for the installation of two Delta
Data remote tPrminal devices to be installed in Rooms
STAT 128 and 134, and connected to
the OJCS VM System.
2. The Office of Security interposes no objection to
the installation and operation of these remote terminal
devices with the following provisos:
a. That all personnel having access to these
remote terminals have Agency TOP SECRET staff-type
clearances and be approved for access to SI material;
b. That the remote terminal devices installed
at this location be TEMPEST-approved models and that
the communications links be enclosed in conduit;
c. That two monitors be designated 'to control
access to these terminals during normal working
hours. When unattended, the remote terminals must
be disconnected from the OJCS system by approved
disconnect methods;
d. That the installations be made in accordance
with established Office of Communications criteria
governing the separation of remote terminals from
other conductive devices which may operate in an un-
classified mode;
